This modest bungalow was the ideal location for our clients.  By converting the existing carport into a garage/ rock climbing studio and adding a covered entrance, this house became the ideal balance between location, function and aesthetics.

This Mississauga bungalo was becoming too small for a growing family. The owners wanted to add a two car garage, a large master bedroom suite on the main floor and a separate bedroom area for their teenage son in the second floor addition.   The new master bedroom extends into the large backyard and the remainder of the first floor was reconfigured into an open concept kitchen, dining and family room.   The exterior materials were changed to create a cohesive and more modern aesthetic rather than an old house with an addition.

This project was designed with a limited construction budget in mind.  In order to provide the amount of space this family needed, the existing foundation was reused and extended while the entire above gound construction was new. Without sacrificing aesthetics, this design was able to meet both budget and functional needs.

This drastic transformation provided this property with a modern curb appeal as well as a complete reconfiguration of the layout inside the house to provide an open concept main floor living space and a large master bedroom with ensuite.  The exterior material change and added entrance roof blends seamlessly with the existing house and structure.
